MyPCBackup, owned by Just Develop It, is a popular online backups service launched in 2010. It is a sister company of ZipCloud and JustCloud and their services are very similar.
Features
MyPCBackup’s main attractive feature and selling point is the unlimited cloud storage it provides. Unfortunately, unlike other backup providers, MyPCBackup’s unlimited service is not really unlimited at all. By closely reading their terms and conditions you will see that it is limited to 500GB of storage. Quite misleading.
They also claim to offer “unlimited” file versioning, allowing you to access old versions of files going back to when they were first uploaded. However this is not unlimited either as MyPCBackup only provides 7 versions of a file. Truly unlimited versioning IS available, but you have to purchase it separately.
One great feature that MyPCBackup does have, which sets it apart from many of its competitors is the many mobile apps it offers. You can access your account using iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry and even Kindle devices.
Also unique is its “remote wipe” feature, which lets you delete files from anywhere. This can be useful when you want to delete backed up data for whatever reason, such as the theft of a laptop for example.
Security
MyPCBackup encrypts all files before they are uploaded to their servers. Unfortunately users can not set encryption keys, something that many other backup services do offer these days. They use 256-bit AES encryption.
Storage
MyPCBackup offers three main personal backup plans: Home, Premium and Ultimate. The Home plan comes with 75GB of storage and costs $7.61 a month (if paid for 2 years). The Premium plan offers 250GB and starts at $8.19 a month, while the most expensive Ultimate plan comes with 1TB of storage and costs $10.69 a month.
Ease of Use
MyPCBackup is quite simple to use. All you need to do to back up files is drag and drop them into the MyPCBackup app’s control panel. Backups start automatically and are updated daily. You can customize the backup schedule in the settings.
Help/Support
MyPCBackup’s support service is pretty good, with both email and phone support available. Their help center can be opened directly from the app, which is quite handy. Video tutorials are also available to help you get started using the service.
What Others Are Saying:
MyPCBackup offers many of the usual online backup features, but its quirks and high price make it a hard sell.- PcMag.com

Overall
MyPCBackup is easy to use and works well. However, its storage space is not unlimited and you have to pay for additional features that are included as standard with many other services.
